Project Description

Terrain house is set in the prehistoric desert landscape of Saudi Arabia. An occasional house designed for a family of four, the Terrain house's architecture and interior create a stark contrast to the original fabric of the deserted surroundings. Utmost importance was given to the form and mass of this house considering the harsh desert conditions which present extreme heat in summer with intense and prolonged sun exposure. Material selection was apt and robust which can sustain extreme weather conditions. The Terrain house offers a one-of-a-kind experience and a peaceful getaway home for the residents.
